Religious School Director

Howdy! My name is Heather Concklin. I am the Religious School Director at CBS. After going to Hebrew School, I continued my Jewish education in Confirmation class and then Hebrew High School. I was a tutor at my Temple in Miami all through High School. I was also involved in Kadima during Jr. High and USY during High School (Conservative Judaism Youth Group). My Senior year, I was elected President of my chapter and I served on the Regional Committee. I was very involved in Hillel during my college years. I have also been an advisor on and off for 12 years with USY and Kadima. I served on the Education Committee in Orlando for 5 years prior to moving to Texas. My husband and I met in the Navy and have been together for over fifteen years.

We have three children: Payton, Mason, and Rebekah. I am a veteran of the US Navy and served as a Nuclear Machinist’s Mate. I am currently a Massage Therapist and am back in school earning a bachelors in Kinesiology – Motor Behavior at TAMU. My goal is to get a post graduate degree in Recreational Therapy. Prior to this, I was an Elementary school teacher. I have two years of experience in the massage field specializing in sports massage, chair massage and injury recovery massage. I developed an interest in the massage of athletes and those engaged in physical activities while in school. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Everest University and earned my license in Massage Therapy after passing the board examination. I work in Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Infant/Prenatal Massage. I look forward to serving the community of Bryan College Station and bringing my personal experience to the school. My hope is that together we can create a fun, interesting and exciting year for the children.
